Roles and Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure that safety measures are in place and properly maintained.
• Investigating accidents and incidents to determine their root causes, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Providing safety training for employees, including hazard recognition, safe work practices, and emergency response procedures.
• Ensuring that all personnel wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety protocols.
• Coordinating with management, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance.
• Maintaining accurate records of safety-related activities, such as inspections, incident reports, and employee training.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Professional certifications, such as the Certified Safety Professional (CSP), the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH IGC -1,2,3) qualifications
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and the American Petroleum Institute (API) standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey safety information to employees and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate safety measures.
