PAYROLL OFFICER

Job brief

The Payroll Officer is responsible for part or all of the payroll process, and ensuring the timely and accurate administration of employee compensation in accordance with established policies and within the required turnaround times.

    • Implements day-to-day tasks assigned for Salary Administration section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures
    • Supports the Salary Administration Team in ensuring that current remuneration policies, procedures and practices are administered efficiently in order to meet both company and the employees’ needs effectively and economically
    • Supports the effective, efficient and timely maintenance and updates of HR Master data and ensure accurate administration of salary changes due to promotions and/or pay grade changes to contribute to the overall motivation of workforce.
    • Supports the Salary Administration team in handling back-office processes and constantly works on the improvements of these processes while finding opportunities for cost-cutting in the non-value-added processes.
    • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by resolving and closing all issues/cases raised by Employee Care Centre within predefined SLAs.
    • Performs Budget verification for all hiring, transfers and promotion actions.

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent qualifications
    • 2-4 years relevant experience in salary administration or payroll processing
    • Must have hands-on experience in SAP Successfactor
